Lovely showroom in Uphall and plenty of product on display. Ended up getting bifolding doors last year so my review is long overdue. Recently had a remedial issue and the customer care I received was great. I must thank Callum for arranging for replacement parts and for a fitter to attend. Thank you ekco.

Had a great experience with ekco from start to finish. The staff were very helpful and communicated well throughout our project. The tradesmen were efficient and showed up on time. I was very impressed by their standard of workmanship and how they would tidy up after themselves. Everything was completed in a timely manner and I’m delighted with my new bathroom.

Scotland is renowned for its unpredictable weather, but when we do get warm spells it’s good to have the luxury of opening your patio doors to allow the light and air to circulate around your home. Traditional French doors, although beautiful, require space to allow them to open inwards. Sliding doors, such as the ones in our Wolfline range can be custom designed to suit smaller homes and are also available in larger than standard sizes. However, if you love the idea of being able to open your patio doors as widely as possible so that the aperture provides an uninterrupted view of your outside space, then you may want to consider investing in Solarlux aluminium bi-fold doors from EKCO Architectural Doors and Windows or Norwood aluminium clad timber patio doors (aluclad) from our sister company Wolfline.
Aluminium bi-fold doors are precision-engineered with multiple frames hinged together which fold up, much like a concertina, thus allowing a wider opening than traditional doors. Our frames are either made using FSC certified sustainable softwood clad with aluminium, or simply aluminium on its own. But why aluminium? Because it is one of the most eco-friendly materials on Earth which can be recycled indefinitely without losing any of its original properties. Combined with double or triple-glazing our bi-fold doors provide excellent insulation, energy efficiency and security for both you, your family, and your home.
In recent years, bifold doors have become a popular option in new-build homes and older homes, creating space and light in an innovative and sophisticated way. When you’re looking for bi-folding doors, EKCO has many options available.
